Indian Factory Tour 1 Month, 4 Weeks ago
The Indian Motorcycle factory in Kings Mountain N.C. is opening for tours on Oct.4. I can't afford one, but it sounds like a good way to spend a Saturday.

Here is a link to the info:

Is it me or does the Indian look like a Road Star with different fenders?

$48 for their cheapest T-shirt, looks like I'm not their target audience/buyer.

Nice looking bike though.

It looks like they came up with a lot of room in there. Are the frames much longer? Are they raked some to get that look?

The 1st Annual Indian Come Home Day was held in Springfield Mass. at the site of the original Indian factory. I was there and saw that factory.
Sorry but just because someone bought the name and through it on the tank, doesn't make it an Indian.

insane......I grew up not far from there so I'll have to visit the factory next time I go "back home". Its such a shame though to see that they have inflated the Indian past the point of being obtainable. I mean, $35k for a new bike?!?!? (that's not even a full on dresser) Even if I had the foolishness to spend 35k (plus tax tag & setup...don't forget that too!) then I couldn't see spending it on a new one. I'd take a portion of that money and buy a classic one first.

if they were smart they'd price the bikes closer to HDs prices. But alas, they are idiots. I'm sure they will sell some, but not enough to stay in business.
