Very Nice! Those wheels are HOT!!!

If I were you, I would look into the rear tail light/license plate. IMO that is the one eye sore on the Road Star. Again, only my opinion.

That said, your bike is Sweet. Can you drive that low? I imagine you need to raise it up some or the pipes would be ground right off.

That's mighty tight, TampaSVT. Your bike and Charlie are certainly a couple of impressive scoots, following the KISS principle. Ah, I see a little rub on the rotor. Finally took a ride, huh? Hey, did you ever consider the new custom wheels that Yamaha is offering for the R*? I've been curious about what folks think about them.

Inspection sticker my ass. I carry mine on piece of plastic floating around in my saddlebag. when inspection time comes, I bolt it onto the license plate frame, get the new sticker and back into the saddlebag it goes.

Thanks, guys.

I can actually ride it that low (my feet actually touch the ground). I just can't turn it... :0)

Tail lights are next on the list. There is an integrated signal light inside the tail light that I'm looking at now. No more lights hanging out the sides.

Took it out for a spin today, so the rotors lost thier mirror shine where the pads touch them. That actually hurt to do, but I've got to stop, right?

Haven't seen the new Yamaha wheels. I'm probably going to a fat tire next year, so who knows what I'll finally end up with.

I hate inspection stickers... I put my on a plate so I can pull it off for pictures, etc.. Just too lazy today... :0)

Thanks again for the comments.

Sharp look! Nice color and paint scheme.

Have you been scraping your "Dooleys" at all yet?

I took a dremel tool to the plastic license plate frame that came with the bike and made an inspection sticker plate. I just loosen one side of the license plate and take it right off. Here are the custom wheels that Yamaha is offering for the *: http://www.starmotorcycles.com/star/accessories/acsubcontaineritems/5/18/91/423/all/1.aspx
