Company Bike Ride 3 Years, 8 Months ago
Well, today, Sunday we were supposed to meet at a local walmart to start our company bike ride. 10am and then leave out on the bikes for a LONG ride to the Breaks Interstate Park. I took Friday off work to shine up the bike, tried the old pledge trick(works great). I planned it all out. Most of the guys at work follow the harley trend so I was fully prepared to defend the metric title for the roadstar. I've rode em both and like my * but I support everyones right to ride what makes them happy. Anyways, Rain Friday so was shining in the building, Rain saturday, cleared saturday evening, then in the middle of the night last night, RAIN everything outside is soaked and its raining today. Not sure if they went, I doubt it. So now another year if they did before I can go on that ride. Why does bad weather always come when you have a good ride planned I dont care to ride in the rain but I'm not going to purposely set out in it. Just thought I would get this off my chest. Later

Maybe you shouldn't have shined it up... and it might not have rained...
The reason I said that is because I put off cleaning my Roadie (including the WWWs ) until today and no sooner did I put the wax bottle away and...

Well, it just shows to go ya!

There is only one thing I will set out in the rain for and that is a KIA Patriot Guard escort. There is nothing else that will get me to willingly set out on my bike in a blinding rain storm.
Thanks, but I will sit in the house or take the truck.
Won't ride in snow either... COLD yes, SNOW no...

Not tryin' to be a smart a** but, weve had almost perfect weather all summer here...(knock on simulated oak). I can only remember 1 weekend this year that got rained out. Actually been too nice a summer, I've looked like a lobster all ridin' season!
