I'm a big fan of the four corners area as well and have spent a lot of time up around Cortez. If it weren't prime allergy season here in Texas (ragweed) I'd be tempted to saddle up and head that way myself. I did the early retirement thing last year. Took a year off and decided I needed to go back to work. Worked for three months and decided I liked retirement better so I'm back on the ranch. Just couldn't take working for some incompetent whose job I knew better than he did - particularly when he thought he knew it all. Yep. Don't know where your coming from, but if you head to Sedona, take I think it's 89 North to Flagstaff GJ I drove 89A a couple of years ago. Four of us in RV's. I was pulling a 30' Travel Trailer. I have a shirt I bought in Jerome that says 158 curves in 12 miles.
