10 Day Ride 3 Years, 8 Months ago
8 of us are leaving tomorrow for a 10 day ride around the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and back around the South Rim. This retired life sure is nice.

Have a great ride! Don't know where your coming from, but if you head to Sedona, take I think it's 89 North to Flagstaff!! You'll see it on the map. It's a great ride!!!

Re:10 Day Ride 3 Years, 8 Months ago
Yeah, the whole Flagstaff, Williams, Sedona area is way cool. I'm a big fan of the four corners area as well and have spent a lot of time up around Cortez. If it weren't prime allergy season here in Texas (ragweed) I'd be tempted to saddle up and head that way myself.

I did the early retirement thing last year. Took a year off and decided I needed to go back to work. Worked for three months and decided I liked retirement better so I'm back on the ranch. Just couldn't take working for some incompetent whose job I knew better than he did - particularly when he thought he knew it all.

Yep. I'm old, experienced, and right.

GJ I drove 89A a couple of years ago. Four of us in RV's. I was pulling a 30' Travel Trailer. I have a shirt I bought in Jerome that says 158 curves in 12 miles. Never do it again with a trailer, maybe on the bike someday.
