Stopped when my kid brother lost his license for no insurance on his moped at age 16. Besides, I went into the Navy, too. In 1990, picked up my XS850 Special (an 1100 minus one cylinder) and racked up 52k miles w/o any problems which sold me on the Yamaha product. Picked up Black Betty 3 years ago on e-bay and will never be without one again. Started riding mini bikes, and dirt bikes at 10. My mom said NO to street bikes, so I had to wait until my 18th birthday to buy my first street bike. On my 18th birthday I went over to my uncles house and bought his BSA 650 twin that I had been drooling over for 2+ years. Been riding street bikes ever since. I'll do the math for those challenged. 30.5 years riding street bikes, 38+ years of total riding.
