In light of the large number of folks using Photobucket to store their sig pics, it's important for folks to understand what Photobucket cannot do for you.

As you should be aware, the Clinic restricts the size of sig pics (see HERE). In brief, your sig pic must be both less than 450 pixels and less 50 kb.

Almost everyone using Photobucket for storage is also using the Photobucket tool to resize their photos. Unless you are lucky, your sig pic will not meet the standard if you use the Photobucket tool to resize your pic. This inevitably leads to the deletion of your sig pic, resulting in frustration on your part and a waste of effort on both our parts.

Photobucket can be used to resize the photo to meet the 450 pixels standard, however it cannot be used to resize the photo to meet the 50 kb standard. In most cases the photo must be resized considerably smaller than 450 pixels in order for the size to be less than 50 kb.

To avoid this problem .... you must resize your pic prior to uploading it to Photobucket. If you don't have the software you can use this link provided by javawave .... Shrink Pictures (not sure if it works for all cases) or if you're patient you can ask the staff to help you out.

Finally after posting your sig pic, go to your post, right click on it, select Properties and check to see if it exceeds the standard ......if it does, then eventually we will delete it.
