Talk about POWER! In '80 I paid $500 to an older lady for a dark green '69 Malibu; 300HP 350ci, Turbo 350 and a 2.67 12 bolt rear. Totally stock with only 93000 mi on it. Loved that car. I pulled the six out and slapped a built 327 (hot cam,tunnel ram, headers) laced up to a B&M 350 with a holeshot torque converter. Painted it baby blue with pinstripped flames on the sides with "back alive from 65" airbrushed on. The van was spooky fast to 80 and then became spooky scarey to control. I loved that car, but then my kid was due so I sold it and bought a "family" car.
