It changed that hunk of iron in to a real runner in an instant. I've wanted one ever since and if I had the money I'd sure put one on. A supercharged blows the mixture into the cylinders; increase the blower pressure and you get more mixture into the cylinder, more mixture into the cylinder means more power, more mixture into the cylinders to produce more power means more fuel consumption, which means less mileage. Making the cylinder work harder means more ware and tare. More ware and tare means shorter life and less reliability for the engine parts. You need to consider not only the initial cost of purchase amd instalation; but also the ongoing increased cost of maintainance and operation. All it takes is liberal quantities of portraits of dead US patriots. If you want to go fast you bought the wrong bike; get a hyabusa or something like that.
