Vance&Hines Powershots 5 Years, 5 Months ago  
I will like to know if the V&H powershots will work with yamaha hard saddle bags on my 06 road star, any problems with fitment is my concern...thanks juan

If you look at the level the stock pipes show on the rear rotor and compare it to the powershots it looks to me like its the same. In fact the Vance and Hines look lower which would mean no problems. Unfortunately they are on my wish list and I haven't tried them yet.

I contacted the technical gurus at Vance and Hines to get the word from the horses' mouth. They said that the Powershot pipes were designed to work with the stock hard bags and will fit no problem.

I've had the Vance and Hine Powershots for about a year now and I love them. They have a great sound and look like they were made for the bike. Have gotten lots of compliments on them. I have the Silverado with leather bags and there's absolutely no clearance problem with them. I wouldn't think there would be a problem with the hard bags either.

I have been looking at the pwrshts also, with baffles how loud are they...
I ride 85 miles each day to work, like a little more volume and perf, but do not want the ultra loud open pipe on this bike...
any thoughts appreciated
