Bee sting 3 Years, 7 Months ago
Got stung by a bee on my neck on my ride on Saturday. I guess the bee smacked against my neck & got caught between my neck and the strap. It had just enough time to sting me before I swept it off. My neck is still a little numb... guess the venom is spreading.

Now I want a windshield badly. Clifford, I'll be in touch about that switchblade deal!

I have the Silverado windshield and I gotta say, lots of bug guts on that thing. I haven't been stung or smacked with it on. Now when I take it off in the summer for little rides I do catch some bugs and gravel. I don't like that. So I leave the shield on all the time, plus it really helps in the winter with the cold.
I have a full face for the first time this year and I'm really excited about seeing how much extra riding I get in.

Went out for a 40-mile ride with my Sweetie, today. When we pulled into the garage, she dismounted the bike and then started laughing and pointing. She laughed, "Your helmet!!" I pulled it off to discover that right on the rim, dead center, was a huge yellow splatter of bug guts. At 60mph, that would have hurt like hell. Whatever it was, it must have been Bugzilla!

Good thing the bumbles can only sting you once. Better your neck is numb and not your head.
