Steve thanks for your help, that was exactly where the leak was coming form the crank case breather was plumbed into the back of the air cleaner base. Now is it necessary to run a filter on the breather tube or not, if so where could I find one. Thanks again on a great site. SULLY!!

Sully,

I have seen three approaches on this one:

Inline airfilter, PCV valve, Hose with nothing on the end.

I chose the PCV route, but have lost one of the pcv valve incerts so not sure I should recommend it.

You need to get about 4 to 6' of hose that will fit the vent on the head, and then think about where you can run it that will end up at the ground. I had already removed my gas tank vent lines, so chose to run it to the same location. This will take you back along the backbone to the area under the nose of the seat. Then straight to the ground, using the loops on the frame put there for the gas tank vent (rollover valve). It will come out to the left side of the shock, in a loop that keeps it from getting into the shock windings.
