Gas Mileage 3 Years, 7 Months ago

I changed my oil and installed Mobile One Synthetic V Twin 20/50 with a Wix oil filter. I also added two magnetic oil drain bolts. Total cost was 49 dollars for this project.

I took a ride from OKC to Wichita Kansas to see my buddy. I got 37mpg going northbound to Wichita running 70 to some times 80 mph up I35. On the way back going southbound into a headwind I got a total of 26 mpg on the first tank full.

I am wanting to know what most are getting in their roadie. I usually get right at 40 mpg when I dont pour into the throttle too much and use the 100 percent gas. If I use the 10 percent ethanol I get around 35 to 37.

What does everybody else get in mpg and what can I do to improve my mileage?
