OK here is how to remove them. Get a length of welding rod or a piece of flat steel long enough to go in deep enough to reach the perferations in the baffles. Make a hook on the end of it and make sure you have about a foot out of the pipe. Clamp a pair of vice grips on the end out of the pipes hook the other end in the perferations and hit the vice grips with a hammer in the out direction until they come out.

Yes with out the baffles you will loose torque but a set of torque chambers will give you loud sound and a lot of torque just ask silvasilv.
