I've seen a few episodes. Too busy on the clinic to watch Seriously, its ok. Not great. Doubt it'll make another season. Don't see it all the time. Comes on late and not something I record.

In the world of reality TV, many will think this is real. Not sure if some is. I'm not a 1%r.

I really like this show. I've seen them all and FX already ordered 13 more episodes for next season! It helps to see it from the beginning to learn and get a feel for the characters. Its loosely based on Shakespeare's Hamlet. Clay is based on the role of King Claudius and Gemma as a Gertrude figure. Jax stands in for Prince Hamlet himself; his reflective questioning of the SOA culture, brought on by the birth of his son, references Hamlet's melancholy over the death of the king. Additionally, Jax "communicates" with his dead father by way of his late father's unpublished journal/manuscript; Hamlet, of course, literally communicated with the ghost of his father.

I couldn't say how realistic the show is but I find it entertaining. Kind of reminds me of the Sopranos a bit. I think Ron Perlman is doing a good job and who can say no to Peg Bundy's evil twin?

Ron Perlman and I share the same birthday, too. (Not the same year, fortunately...)
