He did this daily, and a sting was set up. Pretty brave of the officer that followed him all this way while doing the video. In my travels i do see certain cyclist doing this exact same thing. I scares the crap out of me when they pass me that fast.

obviously an amateur. the only way you will outrun the radio is to duck into neighborhoods and switchbacks. interesting though that the officer did pursue him at such high speeds with the amount of traffic around. any idea what the officer was driving? he seemed to be able to accelerate right along with the biker.

Surely there's got to be a limit to how far police push this..!.Putting himself and the public at further risk..for what...he had enough on the guy and would have got the registration plate details....BLOODY HERO!

I'd say the cop's on a bike too. Look at how the horizon leans in the curves. In a car, the camera's view would remain flat and not show that kind of lean. Also, notice some of the tight areas the cop fits through with the bike. No car would've fit.

That's how it looks to me anyway...

What bikes do the cops ride in the UK...In Oz they generally ride BMW.

22-year old organ donor. I doubt he will understand that the police basically saved his life, because driving like that, it's just a matter of time until they would have had to scrape him up with a spatula and a drinking straw.

Not sure who was riding what, but they were both accelerating and riding faster than anything I've ridden before.

Insane, but looks like fun.

BMW would be my guess too. What impresses me is the quality of the audio/video set up considering it's on a bike. Also, the calmness of the cop. Clearly not his first chase.

Yeah, read the article its an unmarked bike following him. Man, I seriously hope they don't bring in unmarked bikes over here, although I reckon they probably won't bother us cruiser folk that much, there's still a chance. I'm not all about crazy speed or anything but 10-20 (km) over isn't uncommon on faster roads. Oh well, time will tell.

p.s. I love that the engine sounds of the bike sound like an old Nintendo game... a real old Nintendo game. Sweet.

Well they ARE over here, This one was in NC, I noticed all the Crotch rockets being real good and I could not understand why. Well a few rides around town and the evidence was clear.

And I am increasingly seeing Moto Cops about everywhere, Last night at about 215 AM I saw one getting off the PA Toll road, I was shocked. He was all stealthy looking but obviously a Cop.
