It seems I may have goofed 5 Years, 5 Months ago
When installing the Twin Velocity and rejetting the carb, I may have knocked the Throttle Position Sensor out of adjustment. The screws weren't very tight, unlike all the other screws on my carb which were way too tight and most heads stripped during the process of loosening them to gain access to the jets. The material is really soft too, so replacing all of them is now necessary.

Anyway, how can I confirm that my TPS is where it's supposed to be as far as the housing's position on the carb? The bike is not running right at all which leads me to suspect that it's not aligned properly. That and the fact that the screws were not very tight to begin with.

The rest of the installation went smoothly. That is, if I ignore the irritating problem of finding a 12 pt. 1/4" socket to fit the Kuryakan housing screws! Why they just couldn't use a hex headed fastener is beyond me.

The process for the TPS is in the service manual and you can obtain an electronic version from here ..... http://www.ras123.com/roadstar/docs.htm
