A co-worker just got back from Tail of the Dragon recently and brought an interesting photo I thought I would share.

What a way to ruin a great ride!!!

Do you have a larger print of that? I'm not sure what you want us to see? Is there something wrong with the bike? The car following him? I'm not sure

OH, I see, it's Mr. Police Dude tailing Mr.Biker down the curvy pass.
AHHH, that's were you reach down and turn off the gas and make him pass you as you pull over out of gas...

That's when you pull over for a "scenic look", and let him go by! Although, he may be waiting ahead for you!

I guess I don't understand why the Troopers are so heavy on that road. Yes there are a lot of bikers on it, but how fast could you really go with all those turns? Unless the speed limit is 5 MPH I don't get it.

Problem with pulling over to let him pass is, if you don't do it in the right spot, they'll ticket you for stopping. The sport bikers could really go through the curves fast. I went down there last year twice and the LEOS were ALL over the place. They made it no fun at all constantly watching your speed, making sure you didn't cross the center lines even a small amount while going around a turn, They would get you for anything. I under stand the need for enforcing the laws, but down there is just wrong in the way their policing the roads. My 2¢.

There are a whole bunch of Speed Racer wanna bees on that road that cause a hassle for the normal folks that want to enjoy the scenic ride. You don't respect that road it will bite you read bad. Been on that road many many times either direction with no issues.
