I don't. As long as there's no snow or sleet or residue of either, I'll ride. Takes a little longer to get gear on and off, but...

It was 28F, this morning, and it's going to be the same, tomorrow morning. Doesn't bother me. If it gets much colder though, I'll break out the chaps, jacket liner, balaclava, and glove liners. Precipitation of any kind, (rain, sleet, snow, frogs...) will make me park the bike.

My commute to work in the morning is always in the dark, so riding at night isn't so much of a concern, but I don't do it recreationally.

Rode in to work this morning, it was 30 when I left the house, I have covers over the handlebars that are fleese lined, didn't even need to wear gloves. Had a fleese zip up under my leather jacket, and threw on my rain pants over my blue jeans to keep my legs from getting wind chill.

I don't want to go on a long ride today, but I'll go where I need to go.

I'm kinda gettin to the point where I've decided its almost time. I already have her box fan runnin(Good tip, if your garage or storage building or whatever has no heat, keep a box fan on low all winter on your bike, it wont sweat at all.) I did however buy my stabil yesterday so its just a matter of time before I put it in. Also bought seafoam and marvel mystery oil but I have to search again to see what amounts to put in the bike. I'm afraid though the time has come to fill up the tank with gas and stabil, and put her to bed. I'm kinda holdin out for what we call Indian Summer. Around thanksgiving we get like a week of normal summer weather. After that though she's a goner for sure. I'll have enough problems driving a 350 ton rock truck on snow and muddy roads all night without getting the bike out. Anyone have a job that pays well with about 30 hours overtime a week before somethin bad happens lol

Since I don't like to sweat, winter is my time of year. As long as it's not raining, I'm good.
