First of all Rich Friggin spectacular... very fine taste...i love it!

Now to those forks, did u have them chromed or did you buy new forks..thats the only thing that really bothers me about my bike is bruched forks arg! and the one painted side cover...like come on!

Im sorry i just love chrome!

Also Rather than getting off topic i personally am a spokes and white walls guy. It seems more classic cool to me. There would have to be some pretty amazing wheels to get me to change up. I did see some interesting wheels on a softail the other day. they were spoke wheels but the rim wasnt your typical step up style it was a dome or smooth round rim with spokes it was really cool but i havent been able to find any pictures since then...Ive only ever seen them once.

Thanks, man.

In regards to the front end being chrome. My model came brushed like most everybody else. I actually had it all chromed (lower forks, tins/covers, upper tree) when I did the lowered spring in there. Yamaha makes it all chrome, but it's really $$$. $1500+-

If you have some spare time, all of those parts shine up really nicely if you polish them. Wished I had realized that... :0) There are threads where we discussed the process. Most have had really good results.
