I just saw on the news that they have had over 15 inches of snow in Penn and NY...kinda early me thinks...

All due to that nasty global warming.

It was 27F this morning. It'll be time to break out the chaps, pretty soon. For now, I've got Gore-Tex lined gauntlets, a jacket made of liner material that I wear under my leather riding jacket, a neoprene balaclava, and my 3/4 helmet with face shield. So far, I've been pretty warm in the mornings, and anyway, my commute is only six miles. At this point, I'm thinking that I'll probably be able to ride straight through the winter. (Unless the temps drop into the teens the way they did, last year!)

Thanks, Flashback. We really don't get much ice here, unless we get one of those wonderful ice storms... (In which case, I don't even leave the house!)

Put mine in the garage on Saturday and got snow Sunday morning. Went back to the garage yesterday and got it out again, 65 degrees and 70 predicted for today. Sounds like we have about 4 riding days ahead of us before weather turns again. Any time you can ride in Fargo in late October is a plus.
