7 year old bike + 1 week = New addition 3 Years, 6 Months ago
-10 days ago, I had never sat on a motorcycle.

-After 3 years of drooling over a RS I finally went ahead and picked up one last Fri.

-My buddy rode it home (200 miles) Fri night)

-I sat on it and worked the clutch on Sat.
-Sun I started riding it around the Nhood.
-By this past weekend, I went on a 100 mile trip around the Colonial Parkway in VA.

I am absolutely addicted to this thing. I thought my Jeep connected me to the road. A bike is completely different.

Here are some pics. Bike pics

ok something you'll want to look in to are the Ride Like a Pro dvd series. The guy has a site you order them from. A motorcycle safety course will also give good tips but personally I got more out of the dvds. I would recommend doing them BOTH though. The clinic is a good source of info and someone here can answer almost any question. welcome.

Congrats Bob, now sign up for the MSF course. Colonial Parkway is a nice ride, I'm on the south side, maybe we'll meet on the road someday.

bobStash. That is one sharp Roadie. You got a head start on me. I got the Roadie, but not half the mods. Enjoy the ride.

Find looking scoot Bob. Definitely the MSF course, and the DVDs sound good too. If you build your first habits properly, you'll be miles ahead of a lot of others, and a lot safer.
