Top Box and Hard Panniers 3 Years, 6 Months ago
I'm going on a trip in March - approx 6,000klms. As well as towing a trailer, I've also ordered a top box (see link).

http://www.motorcycletopbox.com.au/cruisers/cruisers.html

I've lined up a local custom paint shop to paint the top box same as the Road*

I'm fairly happy with the top box I've ordered. The $$$ seemed about right to me.

However, I'd also like to get hold of a set of hard panniers but haven't been able to locate a good set. I see a lot of good ones on this site. Can anyone help with information on good brand / supplier, etc.?

Thanks
Emu

very cool Emu. That "top box" is sold here as Matazu trunks

How does the Oz dollar stack up to the US dollar? They sell for 115 here. I see they are 215 there.

Thanks Javawave, that's a good lead...you guys are really spoilt for choice. I guess having 15x population helps

The Oz dollar was around $0.95 a couple of months ago...with the debacle on Wall St it appears that lots of folk offloaded the Aussie $ and it dropped to around $0.65 overnight.
