Platinum Boarder Posts: 3510 Blue Magic Metal Polish 3 Years, 6 Months ago   On a whim, last time I was at the auto parts store, I picked up a can of this stuff. Since I bought the bike, it's had a nasty 3" gold/rust-colored discoloration on the upper pipe of my exhaust. I've tried several products and lots of elbow grease, but nothing worked. This afternoon, as I was cleaning, checking tire pressures, oil, etc, I decided to give this stuff a shot. Within MINUTES, the discoloration was GONE, and I mean it was like it had never been there! Amazing stuff... It's good for all metals, and after it's buffed out, it leaves a thin silicone coating that prevents a recurrence of discoloration. Did you do it by hand and then buff it shiney? Basically, I just got a little of it on one cloth, rubbed it until it began to form a black residue. At that point, I used the other cloth to wipe and buff it out. I went over it a few times, and man... The difference is truly amazing. The pipes look brand new.
