And I'm just the opposite. I take short, relatively low-speed, back road trips... and I'm switching in a 31 over the winter.

Best advice I got! I went with stage I on the exhaust, porting the intake, a BAK, and jetting the carburetor. Not "one thing", but four that made a significant difference. Thanks for giving great advice.
