Thanks... When I'm working on a woodworking piece, or wrenching on the bike or Jeep, I hate having to hunt around for stuff. Lord knows, any wrenching I do takes me long enough, as it is!

Yep!! I couldn't be more pleased, and I'm happy that I put the rectifier back on, too!

I saw a can of something at autozone the other day, I was just a can of freon type stuff for freezing parts off. Ahh here it is! http://www.nextag.com/581203896p/prices-html Now we can buy that and have around but use Greayharts Idea ina jam! ........ and save what we really had in the can! Sweet! MC

I used a can of compressed air. Take it and turn it upside down so the freon propellant exits first then spray the elbows. Using a vice grip pliers try and turn the elbow as you're spraying it. The cold will shrink the metal making it easier to remove (that's why they say put the new plugs in the freezer over night). Heating will only expand the metal. My front one came out fine. The rear one needed a little more "persuasion". Hope it works for you.

I think my homemade slide-hammer is the shiz. I wish I would have had the idea sooner. I would have saved myself about six hours of smashed and cut fingers, swearing, and throwing wrenches.

(Oh wait: That was the FUN part!)

Yep!! Big-time credit and kudos to you, Crash. If not for that, I would probably have given up and just spent the rest of the day getting stinking rotten drunk. Oh wait: Dude, you totally messed me up!!
