Frank the T was located just above the battery box. Musky the two hoses that are pictured were connected into the T. The two hoses from the canister went directly to the T. I think the problem is when someone is not very knowledgeable as me they should not be attempting something like this.

Okay... I think you went too far back, buddy. There is a single, thin rubber hose that goes from the AIS pump/switch to the top of the manifold, which is located between the jugs and only visible with the gas tank removed.

The other two lines, the steel ones, go from the AIS around the left side of the bike, and terminate in the sides of the jugs. A short one from the AIS to the side of the front jug, and a longer one that terminates in the side of the rear jug.

Those are the only three hoses that need to be removed.

Yes, but it does not show that T anywhere in CA instructions or other AIS removal instructions

This confused me too. It doesn't state everything on the instructions. It tells you to remove everything up to the tee but then stops. I took the other side out also. Mine was a 1700 with all of the Cali. extras. On the rear side of the tee the hose goes to a valve behind the right side cover then a relief hose under the bike. I removed all of this. I had a ton of stuff removed when done. I will take a pic and upload if it will help. I think I took off more than most people. But none of it was necessary.

I would love to see a picture of what you took off. I was beginning to think I was crazy because the instructions did not mention the point after the T. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Wow... Man, I'm glad the mystery is close to being solved! Hey, take lots of pics and add a tech article, because this is bound to come up again.

I tried to lay it out as much as I could the way I took it off of the bike. Not perfect but should help give you an idea. Let me know if there is any other questions you have. I thought this was going to be a 20 min. job, but once I started taking stuff off, I just kept going. Looks good when you're done though.

Not good pics but the best I can do for 11:00 p.m. Still up though so let me know if you need more help. Yes I agree about the Texh article. The one on here is great, but just needs to be taken a little further into the detail. I am a big fan of Baron't but if I had followed their instructions 75% of that crap would still be on the bike.
