Stopped by the New Indian Motorcycle shop in Charlotte today... by there once before but they were closed..... Great looking Bike.....one dressed out like my Roadstar lists for $37500.00. Yes that is 37K. The cheapest bike they has was over $30K. Dont's think I want to invest in their company... may be a few rich people in the Country that will fork out that much money bit I assure you thay are not TV repairmen.....

They are beautiful bikes, but way too rich for my taste. They really put the jugs on display too. Hardly any "junk" around 'em and you have no question that the bike is a big twin. Hard to knock a classic like the Indian, but I'm also not sure there's a market out there big enough to keep the assembly lines rolling. Time will tell.

Yeah, they are pretty expensive. Saw a display at Street Vibrations and from what I heard no one was buying.

Man you could get three Roadies for that price. Or one and a half Hardleys. Or four crotch rockets. Or eight vespas. Or 16 scooters (electric). Or 3,060 expensive skate boards.

Thats alot of money for a piece of American Iron.

I agree. They're done before they start. Just a matter of time.

Free market system. If people will pay it, they will do okay. I suspect that most people are going to tell them to go pound sand, and so they won't do okay. Maybe they will learn and drop the price of the bike to about half of what they're asking. If they did that, they would fare much better.

I agree, they would do much better if their prices started in the high teens or low twenties. Need to rebuild the name and show that these bikes are built right and tight. If you got a name and quality products and the prices are right, they will sell.
