Thanks for the info .... I'll check it out.

I'd be interested to know how it holds up.

I have a question, in the pic, the outlet on the pingle looks smaller than the stocker...

Flash the effluent pipe is 1 millimeter smaller .The filter itself is mesh like and if held to the light you can see the squares defined so it should allow more flow going out of the tank than the oem valve filters as they are designed to stop smaller particles thus allowing less gas flow and with a 1/4" outlet into the 5/16ths feed line should have a little Venturi effect so we will see.I also checked the part # to make sure I got the right one .If I get enough time and the right attitude I might run a flow test before the final connections and will have a little more time to think about it as well....Coug

Thanks for the info Coug, I guess your pics are spot on...... It would be iteresting to see if the flow is effected..in any case, the pingle looks better........

For sealing threads for gasoline use there is a liquid thread sealing compound called GasOila that will seal off just about anything. You can get it at most any good plumbing supply. That particular brand may not be available everywhere, but I'm sure there are several equivalent products. Teflon just doesn't work well with many chemicals & petroleum products.

I saw this thread still kickin', didn't read every reply but here's what I did. I used the gasket and sealent that pingle sent with the valve, the sealent was blue and it reacted with O2 once opened had to let it sit on the gasket (both sides) for 5min. before installing. On the threads I used teflon tape but it was made for fuel it is yellow and thicker and the valve was VERY tight when it finally lined up in the right position.
