ultrastar, I love your bike. Looking for a tour pack, dang their pricey, even banged up ones on ebay. Like the look.

Lets see:

New pipes (roadhouse or freedom)(mine are cracked and are 6 years old)... $780
Fairing (reckless) $300
Stereo/speakers $200
Venture Bags $400-$500
Mounting hardware ???
HD Tour pack $750-$800
Tour pack rack $250
Paint (probably $750-$1000)

So let me see: $4,000+ (eeeks)

I know this is an old thread, however I need some help. I am installing RSV bags and bag guards on my 07 Roadstar and have a question regarding the brace that mounts to the fender then to the front of the saddlebag guard. It appears that in order to use the saddlebags mount on this bracket that it requires modification. Does anyone who is running saddlebag guards have a picture of this area? I am make the bracket for the lower front to mount to the frame. I just need to talk with someone who's been there.
