Your opinion? 3 Years, 5 Months ago   I'm in Miami-Dade County in Florida, and we don't have to wear helmets by law. I wear one at night and on expressways... But feel kinda guilty when I don't. What do you think? I am looking for opinions from experienced drivers on both sides of the issue. THANKS! Have been wearing a 3/4 but am getting a full face or modular this winter. To me it's really cheap insurance if something were to happen. Your opini 3 Years, 5 Months ago   I am old school and back in the day I never wore a helmet. Texas law did not require it then. It is a different world these days with the traffic being a thousand times heavier than what it was then, not to mention the distracted inexperienced cagers talking on cell phones and text messaging while driving. I wear one now because Texas requires it unless you have taken a course or have supplement medical insurance. Did you get that? I have a motorcycle license in my pocket but I would have to take a rider safety course. I would think knowing how to operate safely would be the requirement to get the license in the first place. Your opinion? 3 Years, 5 Months ago   In Canada you must wear a helmet. Unless you are a sikh in British Columbia or Manitoba. In that case special treatment is in place because of the turban. Thankfully Ontario Supreme court said no to that all riders must wear helmet.
