I'm wondering if you've had any problems with the fender rubbing the tire. How do you think this compares with actually lowering the suspension?

I am not running the fender lowered anymore on mine. I changed seats to a corbin stinger and with the fender lowered the one-piece seat wouldnt fit right, so I put it back up to stock and put a lowering kit on. I had zero problems with the fender lowered,no tire rub or anything, and you can achieve almost the same look as a lowering kit with it, without the worrys of dragging pipes etc. Best thing is its free to do........and reversible if ya decide to go back to stock, simply by welding a spacer on the subframe stub.

Could place washers where the fender was ground to raise it back to stock position. But how does it look with the passenger seat in place, is the seat tilted back?<br><br>Post edited by: draco, at: 2005/02/08 17:01

Washers would work fine to raise the fender back up, can be fun getting everything to sit still while ya put the bolt in, but i used washers at first on mine to go back up. The seat is lowereed a bit, but you dont notice it when looking. You really arent moving the fender that much, it just looks like you are.....

Simple enough its worth a try.

I can't have the &quot;lower look&quot; without dragin pipes.
