I got about a mile down the road, and the skies opened up. It was a frog-strangler...

Fortunately, I didn't have far to go, and it let up fairly quick. Just long enough to get me soppin' wet and pissed-off.

We've had some real nice days here, but on Oct 24th I had 3 cervical vertebrae fused with bolts and rods. I can't even pull my bike out of the garage. Now that's frustration.

Sorry To hear that. I hope your feeling better soon and definitely before the next riding season.

Thanks GJ. I am looking forward to riding season. This was my second go around. 5 of my 7 cervicals are now fused. I look like the Terminator in x-rays. Just don't heal as quick anymore.

Damn the torpedos...full steam ahead.

Well, I did bundle up as well as I could, and finally got the R* to start (which isnt easy below freezing) and took her out for a spin. It didnt last too long though, 10 miles or so and I was cold enough.
At least I got the battery charged up.

Well, it was a beautiful day here in TX. Had to be about 75 and sunny all day (w/ low humidity). My 8 yr. old graduated from the battery powered 4 wheeler to a 125cc for Christmas, and it was a perfect day to do a bit of teaching. Even stamped him out a bit of a circuit in the backyard (he had a bit of a hard time understanding why daddy had to go around the circle so many times) .. Then, found that my jack was low on oil the other day, so I couldn't jack my bike up all the way, so I had to ride down to Auto Zone for some hydraulic jack oil.

My wife said that trip took entirely too long. I don't think she'll ever understand...
