Schatzie and I got a Blueant Bluetooth set from Santa, We have already tried it, it is all it says it is, Bike to bike, rider to passenger and your cell phone hooks into it so you can answer a call if you are on call 24 7 like me. I got mine $95 a set a New Egg. com 100% satisfied. The coolest part is at 70 MPH you are crystal clear no noise. They adjust to speed and automatically adjust the volume for you as well as come with mounts for any type helmet, We used the 3m Stick on for the 3/4 helmets and will use the clip on for the full face. They also clip off in a jiff so when you park you can take the unit off and lock it away.

So you get 2 of these to be able to talk "driver to passenger"? And they also work with your cell phone?? This is cool!! Do you hear the cell ring through them like a regular bluetooth headset?

Me likey!!

One question MS1700, Is necessary to buy two systems of $ 95 to comunicate between rider and passenger or just one and an addicioanl microphone or something like ?

Thanks...

I've got the AUTOCOM Advance 7 system on my Roadie... been using it for over 3 years now with no problem at all.

I've got my cell phone plugged in when I ride. The phone is set to 'auto answer'..... both ride and passenger can talk to whoever calls. Even wearing open faced helmets and riding at Interstate speeds, they can't tell we're on the bike. NO background noise at all.

Also use it for bike to bike when my son and I ride together. Works great! I have a switch on my bike so I can go VOX or PTT. Most times I ride with it set to PTT, otherwise he hears everything we say. We use GMRS/FRS radios..... on the low powered channels, the batteries last all day. And at 1/2 watt.... we have plently of range, generally, a mile at the least, even in the city.

The AUTOCOM also has jacks so you can hook up a CD player or MP3 player. One nice thing too.... the volume of your music source reduces 50% when you and your passenger talk allowing you to talk over the music. Whne you finish talking, the volume returns to whatever you had it set at.

One thing, the system isn't cheap. Last time I looked, the full set up with 2 headsets was around $350, and that didn't include the radios. It's a piece of cake to hook up though... just find a switched 12 volt lead and splice into it, hook up the ground wire and run your headset leads........ and you're done!

you oughta be able to get by with a over the ear earpiece/mic set, just make sure you get a foam windcutter for your mic...from what I understand the throat mics all muffle what you say, but I run a 3/4 helmet with a headset with a foam cover, and I can ride at 70 with the faceshield up and no problems with noise

Yes you have to buy two as they operate separately, She can talk to me and answer her phone calls and I can talk to her and answer mine. We can be on same bike or different bikes. I got mine at NewEgg.com But here is a link although they want a LOT more. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8451793&type=product&id=1184369369114&ref=06&loc=01&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=8451793

I can also say the battery's last long and charge quick.
