Heading down to South Florida 3 Years, 4 Months ago

My brother and I are heading down to the Lake Okeechobee area this friday... Our mom is have some surgery and we want to show up to surprise and support her... So, we figured that we could also do a bit of riding while we are there... We are going to be staying in Canal Point which is about 30 to 45 minutes from West Palm... Iffin anyone wants to get together for a meet and greet kinda thing, just give me a shout...
We will be leaving on Friday morning 1/9/09 and stopping in Valdosta, Ga that evening... On Saturday we will finish the trip down to Canal Point.... We will probably be leaving from Canal Point the following Thursday to head back.... the return dates are not in carved in concrete, and is subject to change... We look forward to being able to meet up with some of you guys...

If you decide to come down to Miami on a weekend, let me know. It's about 1 1/2 hours south of WPB and if you haven't been here, it's worth coming down in the morning and spending the day.
Have a nice safe trip!

Thanks for the invite! I dont know just yet what time we are leaving... the weather and temp will dictate that! LOL!
I will keep your number just in case we do hit the ATL at lunch... where do you work? My dad use to work at the AT&T building downtown...

As much as I talk to Sam Nehme at Broward Motorsports, I defintely want to head down that way to see him...
So maybe we can hook up one day as well... Been to Miami many times in the past... many memories there! LOL!!

If you come down US 27 through Sebring stop in at my shop. There is a Wal-Mart with a Blockbuster in front and a traffic light at the intersection. At the next traffic light be in the left lane (do not turn, go straight through the intersection) and make the next left turn. You will be looking across the parking lot right at my shop. Well, if it weren't for the fact that you're wanting to go for family reasons, and not just pleasure... I'd say that I'm filled with envy and hate you!

I work from my home in Dunwoody/Sandy Springs, north of the City of Atlanta proper. But if you're coming down I-85 you will pass really close to where I am.

Well, I would hate me too even for the reason that we are riding down... Just for the fact that we will be riding our bikes down and soaking up all the sunshine we can!!! LOL!!
