Sent a text message to the kiddo yesterday afternoon and told her I'd be picking her up after school on the roadie. Mid 70's here and a beautiful sunny day. We had a great 2 hour ride before heading over to her karate class. Even last night was great - still in the upper 60's when we headed to the house. It was warmer to day but the wind was starting to kick up a bit. Tomorrow - back down to the 40's. Grrr.

Today we had a heat wave come through the midalantic area. 49 degrees.
When I came home from work, I pulled her out of the garage and went for a ride.
All my troubles and worrys just melted away. I feel like a human being again. Six hours later and I am still grinning. Life is good.

I told my wife I wasnt sure who's battery was charged better, the bike's or mine! It was a short ride, but man it felt good!

Went riding wednesday, it was in the 70's. Some of my friends and I rode about 45 minutes away to Grand Lake in Grove Oklahoma. Drove around the lake, miles and miles of shore lines and went over the worlds longest multi arch damn. Over all we had a great time, and I'm glad because it's back to 19 degrees right now. You have to love Oklahoma weather, if you don't like what it looks like, give it a few minutes it'll change.

I was going to go yesterday....in the 50's sun shining.....sun was warm. I pulled the cover on my "cycle shell" back over the bike.....boy did she look good. I incerted my key and turned it and heard that "tick tick tick" you get when you first turn the key and with great expectation turned it the rest of the way.....and i got "click". I was devistated, my battery was too low to kick her over. So, I hooked up the charger...then my daugher came by and i had to help her with her car....and by the time we were done the battery was charged....but the sun was setting and it was starting to get a little chilly. So, gave her a kiss tucked her back into bed till next time.

I gotta git on her soon...I'm having some shoulder surgery next month, and it will be at least a month or more before i can get back on it.

Just rode downtown to meet my wife for a bite of lunch, about 20 minutes including about 8 miles of 65mph freeway (Although I was going a bit faster )

But it's 30 degrees

She's running great although I get the occasional backfire...I'll put that in another thread.

Aw, Cass... That sucks. Maybe in a month though, temperatures will just be getting really stable and nice for more consistent riding. Hope your surgery goes well.
