Big Growl Exhaust??? 3 Years, 4 Months ago
I'm guessing you get what you pay for! But, am very curious if anybody has any experience with this exhaust system. Thanks.

No experience with the "Big Growl", but I have purchased some cheep pipes before for my old sportster, the chrome didn't last 100 miles, they would be a good buy if you wanted to strip them down to paint header black, or for a rat bike.

Guess at that price you could afford to buy a new set every 3 or 4 years.

I am pretty sure that is what is on my bike. They were on it when I bought the bike. They do require some maintenance. I have to remove the discoloration every few weeks. They do have a nice sound. I bought the bike (05) a little over a year ago with 3,200 miles. I have 8,500 now.

I am currently looking at the Cobra Power Pro HP 2-into-1 Exhaust. Hope that helps.

For what its worth I bought the Power Pro hp 2 into 1 and really did not like the sound...too midrange honky .( Have modified it and Love the sound now ) AND , the fit of the bracket was not good and the Flanges supplied are to skinny ....they bend easily when torqueing the Flange nuts .Also , Dont even try to assemble in the order Cobra suggests , Pre assemble the whole unit loosely using some motor oil between the pipes at the joints and it works great .
