I've got one. My buddy who works for Budweiser got it out of their novelties catalog and gave it to me.

ok so i bought my bike and got a awsome deal in it and it had a bell when i bought it i i keep it on there for luck. does this count? he gave me the bike with the bell attached so it should be good luck still right?

You should be good, as long as you didn't go out and buy the bell yourself. It's supposed to be given to you. As you didn't buy "it", you bought the scoot, you should be in good shape. MHO

I got one for my brother's R*, then he went out and got one for mine. The other big thing around here is getting your bike blessed every let bit helps. I've not done that yet.

I got one for christmas, My daughter's friend has a 5 year old son, I knew he was getting a new bike for Christmas so I told him the legend of the bell. Well after Christmas, he remembered the story and said he wanted a bell for his bike, so I took him to a local motorcycle shop, we got two of them and exchanged bells..worked out pretty good.......

Acording to the add, it still works if you buy it, it just works better if it's gifted to you.

I don't have one, never heard of it before now. Anyone want to give me one?

I have one given to me by a good friend and long time rider. I have given many to friends when they get a new scooter or if they do not have a bell. I do not believe in this kind of stuff, but it is a Biker Thing and it is a great custom. Someone started a pass it forward deal, don't remember where, but buy a bell pass it to someone and they in turn pass one to someone else. We could do that for our belless brothers/sisters on the Clinic. What do you think?
