Anyone planning on Daytona this year? 3 Years, 4 Months ago
The thought has crossed my mind to make the ride to Daytona at the end of Feb---anyone else thinking about going? I would be coming from Louisiana if I go (still gotta clear that time off with the SO and employer), and would be delighted to meet up with some of you along the way if y'all are making the trip from my region (Texas and Mississippi, I'm talking to you).

The events from Feb 27 to March 8, but I prob would be going for a wknd, can't afford to stay a whole week...

I am planning on riding down from Lexington, Ky., starting on Saturday Feb. 28. I think we are going to have 10 or 12 ride down.

Four or five guys from Lexington are going to be racing at the Speedway Monday and Tuesday in the ARHMA races. They race mostly vintage motorcycles. Anyone can come into the infield and walk around the pits to look at the bikes and talk to the racers. It is a lot of fun and a bunch of really nice guys.

Someone beat me to the post! I was getting ready to start one of these! My girl friend and me as well as a couple other couples we be up of and on all week. We have the luxury of living 30-45 minutes South of Daytona. We pop up all week long! Anyone looking to travel and stay overnight might even consider staying in Titusville. A lot of people do. If you like to ride you get a nice stretch of road and 1/2 hour and your in the middle of it all! Feel free to PM or ask any questions about the area. I'll be glad to give my 2 cents!

Same goes for me, I live about 1 hr. north in St. Augustine; alot of riding loops run north out of Daytona. Sometimes I don't make it all the way down to main st., however I do want to see BMSchoppers at the Yamaha tent at the speedway. If anyone needs info. on the area good chance I can head you in the right direction. Feel free to pm me.

I'll be here alright. But, I will be working every one of those days. My office is literally 50 feet from A1A. During bike week, it is extremely hard to concentrate; bikes, babes and beer within ear shot all day!

I almost always stop by the mfr's tents at some point during the week. I'll look for BMS!
