well don,whatever i'm doing , your doing it better and thats for sure, congrats to you.i was looking up the local yammy dealer in the area and except for boats it looks like jefferson city is the motorcycle man.but thats ok . i am going to try one of our local dealers here in st.louis.they do a lot of promotion and like lake ozark exposure.my question to you is what are we looking for? a banner with the roadstar clinic emblem ? lunch? discounts on stuff.....wait a minute, beer huggies.lol  let me know and i will approach them. i have to pick up julie (my fiannce ) from work now i'll be back in an hour and a half.spud .........i love this picture...warm weather..cold beer  |

Spudwrench, Which motel are you looking at? If you do get them to give a decent rate, Please let us know ASAP. I would like to reserve soon. Thanks for ALL of your help and time in planning this.

The Golden Door looks great to me. I kinda like those mom and pop type places. Gives a little change from the same old chain motels. As soon as you get some feedback from them on a group price let us know. I am waiting and will make reservations once you find something out. |

I would leave that up to them. Just put it out to them that several members of the RSC have organized a meet and greet at Lake of the Ozarks and if they would like to maybe throw out some Promo items, T-shirts, hoodies, beer cozies, what ever they might have, that it would be a good place for them to come and shake a few hands, have a few laughs eat a burger and enjoy?
Most would love to do that.. I do it all the time when I can get a captive group. Marketing money is easy to spend!

THE GOLDEN DOOR HAS SOME ROOMS LEFT FOR MAY 15-16 . the problem with lake of the ozarks is rooms on the water are 33% higher than rooms that aren't.He didn't want to discount us because he was already close to being booked up.if i was going to stay in a motel i would book at the golden door now!! i know a few of us that pmed me are ready to reserve there rooms. if you do it now you will be staying there with other rsc members.

FYI. The Golden Door has a few rooms left. Seems there's a trap shooting convention in the area that weekend.
