So the bell saved you? Your still riding? Able to write or post messages, so I'm guessing your not doing that from the great beyond?

I now have a rider's bell protecting each side of my bike.

The one on the left side...is from a great bloke in Tennessee. Thanks again FrankW

p.s. I know these are supposed to be as close as possible to the ground but because these are in view while riding and when I pull up at lights it's a prompt for me to think about getting home safely.

I now have a rider's bell protecting each side of my bike.

And the one on the right side, a Sturgis commemorative bell...is from a great bloke in Michigan. Thanks again Slezy

BTW....it's amazing how many people have seen these and either given a knowing gesture; or have come over and asked about them. In the latter case, I have the pleasure of explaining the story behind them and the fact that they were both gifted by great guys who went to the trouble because they cared. Kinda like spreading the good news
