Alot depends on engine speed, stator power produces X at a given rpm, if the engine is running at X rpm and the stator can"t supply all the toys then battery power will step in to compensate and slowly drain,

modern stators supply sufficient power at idle to make everything work and keep the battery happy until we start adding stuff, during normal riding it also needs to charge the battery to full charge to start the engine an important feature..>G<

A meter is needed to monitor the battery so you know when to turn some gadgets off like electric clothing for instance.
