Help - need a pass floorboard measurement 3 Years, 3 Months ago
I am installing a new set of VERY large saddlebags on my project bike. They literally fill the space from the rear most point of a folded up rear passenger peg very nearly all the way to the end of my rear fender.

I know my wife is going to want rear floorboards soon, so want to make sure when I install them that I locate them far enough to the rear that I won't end up remounting them when that time comes.

If someone has rear floorboards and a few moments got a quick measure for me, I would really appreciate getting a measurement of the distance from the middle of the top rear peg mount bolt to the farthest rear point of the floorboard.

Thanks in Advance for any help.

Gram

I am trying to plan for the largest I can. So I guess a set of Yammi aftermarket ones. I know my cobra's on a previous bike were smaller, so if I had measurements on a set of Yamaha's that would be great

My wife is 4'9' so I had to make the braket for the rear floorboards to bring them up so if you need something made up let me know and I'll make you a set of brakets. I make the out of .187 thick SST and polish them they do look good

Hey Gram
I've flipped my mounts, instead of up and back, they are down and back. I have the Kuryakyn passenger Iso-boards. I don't have them bolted on right now, kinda in the middle of a couple mods myself, but holding them up to the mounting point, it's 4 7/8" from the center of rear bolt hole on bike, to the rear of Kury floorboard.

I've also run them flipped down and forward, with the Kury boards run backwards (keeps them off pipes). Allows my wife to stretch out a little more. They are approx 3 3/4" from bolt hole to rear of floorboard in this position.
I may have to run them in this position after my new bags, guards, and guard bags are finished.

edit: Forgot, the Kury boards are 9" X 4 1/2".

Thanks Guys!!

Just got back from dinner with some friends. I will just plan on the longest measure here. That should get me clear of them when the time comes.

Gidday Gram....Not sure if you have the info you're looking for so don't hesitate sending me a PM if you need any furhter dimensions.

BTW,...I recently fitted the Yami floorboards and as I've just refit the stock system I wasn't 100% happy on how close they were to the pipes so made my own mounts. They turned out pretty good.
