Hey all. I'm Brian Thomas & I am from Baltimore, Ohio which is just south of Columbus. I was away from riding for two years due to a cager hitting me from the rear and destroying my Kawasaki Vulcan in 2004. Once I healed as much as possible and the case was settled (It's a long story but let me tell you that Nationwide insurance is not as biker friendly as they claim to be.), I headed over to the Yamaha dealership and bought my '06 Road Star last July. I love this bike. Best one I've ever owned in my 20+ years of riding. I also think this forum is the best. The wit & wisdom here is priceless. Thanks to all who contribute.
Oh, and by the way.....White bikes are by far the best!

I dunno about faster, but I'd trade my Midnight for your Red any day. Unfortunately I only had the choice of Midnight Black or Black Midnight. Don't get me wrong, I love my Midnight, but that red is damn nice.
