Windjammer on a R* ?? 3 Years, 2 Months ago

Just out of curiosity...has anyone ever attempted to put a Windjammer "vetter" fairing on a R*? I had one back in the '70's and have always thought they were the best thing out there. I know they are not made anymore (the factory burned.. the story I heard)but I found a used one in very good condition and thought I would ask the question. Thanks for any input.

I have neverseen one on a r* but I had one on my Honda CB650(1984) it had the radio and speaker in it.I loved it. Let me know if you put it on your bike.That would really change the look

That would be different would love to see it. Had one on my 750cb4k Loved it trunk and saddle bags still have it need to restore they are fetching bucks these days.

For those of you that have never seen one on a bike...I took this pic of the one I had back in the day (76 KZ900). I sold the bike to my best friend (brother-in-law)back in '80 and he has kept it in pristine condition. I took this pic about a year ago. He is now in OK and I am in VA.

Had one on a new goldwing(1976  )never seen one on a road* star but why not you might be starting a new kraze!Craig vetter might even like it!  |
