not to bring a thread back from the dead, but anyone that has done this, did you have to somehow extend your brake or shifter?

I'm 6'3" and felt a little cramped with the stock floorboard position.

I installed a custom set made by one of the members here. I have had them on for about two years and had to remove my Yami engine guards and hi-way pegs when I installed them.

I fabricated a custom straight bar using the stock engine guard flanges as templates and mounted a 1" rebar to them.

Painted it black and bolted it right up to the same mounts as the guard.

I ground down the tips a little bit and installed my hiway pegs on them and they work great for me. I can shift the toe shifter with my heel on the left and brake with my heel on the right (when I drive leisurely).

I originally wanted to get the Yami big engine bars, but the cost kept me away. I am quite satisfied with what I have. It looks clean and unobtrusive.

The brake lines had to be let loose from their stays and are snug tight. I probably would wrap them in those wire sleeves to protect them from wear, but haven't yet.

Maybe I should soon!?

It's been a few years since Musky turned me onto these extenders. But, if I remember correctly, the brake pedal moved with the floorboard as one ensemble and the shifter had to be repositioned with the linkage adjusted just a little for the 15 degree slant. Hope that helps.
