What if you have the Yami passing lamps & mount? Is that in the way of the lower triple tree for mounting the said cover?

:-DD.

Nope...Yamaha passing lamps use the two bolts under the headlamp & have no connection to the upper triple tree.

I'd just drill the holes and be done with it. I mean, how difficult could it be?

That's what I keep thinking - can anyone confirm that it's even possible?

I have those lights on my bike and i have a Memphis shades windshield. i was going to put it on the other day the mounts for the shield completely cover the indicators. there isn't any sense in destroying the signals by drilling hoes into them I am planning on removing the signals when i put my new calipers on and ill put the windshield on then.

Just a tad of the subject but my neighbor's got a Honda VTX and he mounted the stock front signals to the headlight housing with 21 watt bulbs. Different.
