#1731 grampyg (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 2 hard bags 7 Years, 3 Months ago   Hello everybody. I have a small problem that I hope somebody can give me some help with. I bought a set of hard bags off e-bay that were suppose to be venture bags. The biggest problem is that I want to put roadhouse doolies on and to do this they have to be lowered which is the look that I really like. When I hold them were they would have to be just above where the pipes would be they have to be out form the fender alot more than I thought because of the swing arm. Has anybody had anything to do with a set up like this. Also which mounting hardware should I use roadstar or royalstar I believe they are different. I really could use some help. He is also running Doolies. If I remember correctly, he only had to modify the mounting hardware to work on the roadstar. But his looks great. I was told these are the Royal Star Tour Deluxe Hard l(Fiberglass or Plastic)bags. I had to make brackets to allow me to lower them so the gap wasn't so obvious. I will try to attach the pic.
