I get around 45 mpg and I have 9000 miles on my bike. If your bike is new and has less than 1000 miles on it then it may not be broken in yet and will get crap for milage. No one here has given the milage on their bike so it is not a valid to compair your mailage to theirs. If it has a lot of miles on it I would do a compression check could be bad ring do you have gas out the tail pipe? Hope this helps but the milage yur getting isn't typical.

Yeah I am going to reserve on about 135 miles. I am pretty easy on the throttle, and I have about 4200 miles. After I shut the bike off, you can smell gas pretty strong. I have never messed with leaning the bike or any adjustments to the fuel system.. Any help would be appreciated.

How does it run? I ask that, not to tell you to leave it alone, but am curious if it give off any "symptoms" of a problem so you can be directed in the right direction(is that a double negative?). Idle good? Power good through out? Fill us in. You bought it new, so you know its history?

My dealer had to adjust my PMS before I could drive it home... great dealer knew how to work on roadstars... the bike was set up to rich from factory... stock got low 40's... now that I've done some mods (speedstar air kit and porting the intake and of course jetting) I'm getting 45 to 50 ... but she's set up a little lean I drove her in 20 degree weather the other day and had to keep her on 1/2 choke to keep her running right ... but anything really ridable (above 43) she runs great... ~Guido

Holy cow jet....!

I have a little over 3600 miles on my `06 Roadie and get anywhere from 48~50mpg and haven't hit reserve until close to the 190 mile mark. Of course, I don't ride the crud out of it, but I run the speed limit.

Mine's bone stock. If I were you, I'd take yours back to the shop and let them check it out.

Best to ya,
Mike

Whatever they run, it's better than my Expedition, it gets 17 mpg on a good day.

You really need to have that looked at. Stock I was at about 44. After pipes, jetting and a dealer who messed up, I went to 32. I adjusted the PMS myself and with the advice of the guys here I am back to 45+. Of course, if it is not a White Bike, none of this really matters.

Hey bru

As much as I wish I had any artistic talent what so ever I don't. This was done by Curt's (Black ice) wife. I wanted to get and idea of what a plain BAK face plate would look like if I painted it white and had this scene airbrushed on it. She nailed it dead on.

But I also asked for other stuff which I think is going to result on an all out GIF attack on my bike.
