Time to help your fellow Roadies out. How? Tell us about something you keep in the shop/garage that you swear by , and you know it's better than what the other guy is using. Lots of folks really taking a liking to working on their own rides now, so lets help em out. Large or small , it doesn't matter, so give it up! 
I'll get us started with something small: PB Blaster. Best stuff you can get for moving stubborn parts and dissolving rust. Makes W**0 look like water. You can thank me later.  BB |

Hey BB, been using pb-blaster for a while now,, as you know I am also into boats, and they rust and gum up worst than anything, It is great stuff..I also find myself using fibreglass more and more for just everyday things,,you can make a temp mold and create shapes that are almost impossible with anything else..

I can't think of much at the moment, but instead of buying a highpriced motorcycle dryer I just use my cheap electric leaf blower. And I never use electrical tape when wiring anything like lights, use heat shrink, it doesn't unravle and is more water proof. And for cleaning the windshield the best way to get stubborn bugs off is to soak a microfiber towel in water and microwave it, or soak it in very hot water, then lay it over your windshield and gently wipe it, then go back with what ever cleaner you use.

Starting Fluid.
1. Hand Cleaner(warning, potential cancer in 20 years lol)
2. The Best Degreaser you can buy and evaporates quickly
3. Removes adhesives
4. Cleans the hell outta rotors
5. removes any overspray of slickem products
Ya gotta remember, I work in the mining industry, we practically use the stuff to shower lol. Gotta have ether for everything.

I do not use nylon ties on my wiring anymore. The vibration can make them cut thru the insolation and expose the the wire. I use cable ties. They are about 1/2" wide and made of a cloth material and use hook and loop to hold fast. I say this because I fly RC Helicopter's and they vibrate just like my R*. I have seen choppers crash do to nylon ties shorting out wires..Just my 2 cents worth.

LE could you please shrink your pic down to 50 kb. It's currently 1540 kb and even with hi-speed it takes a bit to time to load.

Ditto on the PB-Blaster and starting fluid. What did we ever do without those two? The wrenches with closed end ratchets have spoiled me too. I always grab them instead of sockets when I can use them. My motorcycle jack has saved my back many times.
