Hotelfox,would a 10amp automotive battery charger burn out the bike battery?

10 amp would be good for a fast boost only , not a charge setting. 1.5 to 2 amp is the setting for an overnight charge. Make sense? BB

If the battery is only a few months old, I think I would take it back and see if they can test it and possibly get a replacement for free or pro-rated. I would also check all your connections and then test your charging system again. You said it wasn't putting out 13.7 volts when running. If you throw a new battery in, and not charging correctly, You'll toast another battery. Good luck.
